FALL 2025

This Fall we tried our hands at new growth and uncharted territory. We found surprise and joy in our continual harvests this fall having successfully grown; Radishes, Turnips, Red lettuce, Butter Lettuce, Broccoli, Kohlrabi, Green Beans, Kale, Collards, Sugar Snap Peas, Potatoes & Beets (We won’t talk about the carrots.)

This season brought to us new program ventures and allowed us to explore what farm- to- table would look like for us, and we have been very lucky to have utilized much of what we grew this fall in our Community Dinner and Dinner Church Meals. Serving nutritious, hearty and delish meals to 200+ individuals in our community

All Extra has been donated to Growing High Point for their use in our community in Senior produce boxes or on the Growdega. And to West End Ministries to provide fresh weekly produce in their Food Pantry boxes.

These are the carrots we won’t talk about.

SUMMER 2025

This Summer our Garden Flourished under the care of our Fellows, Volunteers and Community Members. With this care we grew; Tomatoes, Tomatillos, butternut squash, Zucchini, Swiss Chard, Bell Peppers, Cucumber, Cabbages, Eggplant, Figs, Strawberries Basil, and lettuce greens!

Most of our produce this summer was donated to Growing High Point for their use in our community in Senior produce boxes or on the Growdega. Everything else was used in our August Meal, in partnership with AKA sorority for a Senior Resource Day, or given out to community members.
