Food . Faith . Fellowship
There’s a seat for you at the table.
An intentional Christian community in High Point, North Carolina growing food for our neighbors and gathering around a shared sacred table
Whoever you are, whatever you believe — there's a place for you here.
Rooted in Community
Hungry for food - and for one another.
In the mid 2010’s, High Point ranked among the nation’s most food insecure cities. The Friendship Table grew from a desire to stand alongside our neighbors.
We are an intentional, ecumenical Christian community rooted in growing food for our neighbors, and in guiding one another in spiritual formation and growth.
Why we Exist
Feeding the hunger for justice, connection, and communion- as an intentional community committed to christian prayer, formation, and service
Our Mission
Rooted in faith, we are a New Monastic community living out God’s love through food justice, spiritual formation, and fellowship. We respond to the hunger for connection, purpose, and justice by cultivating community and serving our neighbors.
Our Vision
Our vision is a bigger table, The Friendship Table, with room for everyone. We envision a world where no one is excluded from the table — where access to healthy, affordable, and culturally meaningful food is a shared right, where communities are rooted in justice, connection, and love; a world in which young leaders live out God's love through intentional community and transformative service, revealing the beauty of God's kingdom in everyday life; a world in which the lines between "us" and "other" vanish, and all gather as neighbors at one shared, sacred table.
