The Friendship Table believes everyone belongs at God's table. We offer two distinct meal ministries that create space for neighbors to gather, build relationships, and experience radical hospitality. Both Central to our Mission but different in Function, and we are asked a lot about the differences between our two Food Ministries. Here is a brief breakdown of what each event is and how they operate


Friday Community Meal

Our core food justice mission serving those hungry for food and community

  • When: The Third Friday of Every Month at 6:30pm

  • Where: 205 W Farriss Ave, High Point, NC, 27262

  • Who it's for: Neighbors experiencing food insecurity - working families, seniors, housed and unhoused individuals. All are welcome at our table, regardless of circumstances.

  • What to expect: Family-style meal, shared tables, conversation and community. To-go boxes available for those who need to grab and go.

  • Cost: Free, all welcome

Please note: We serve the broader community of people experiencing food insecurity within our capacity and resources. Other organizations may be better equipped for emergency food provision or specialized services.

Tuesday Dinner Church

Liturgical worship centered around a shared meal

  • When: Every Other Tuesday of the Month at 6:30pm

  • Where: 108 W Farriss Ave, High Point, NC, 27262

  • Who it's for: Those seeking spiritual formation and worshiping community

  • What it is: Worship service integrating Scripture, Eucharist, and table fellowship

  • What to expect: Scripture reading, brief homily or story, communion (Bread and Grape Juice), shared meal, approximately 90 minutes

  • Cost: Free, open to all

Rooted in early Christian practice where eating together IS the liturgy. All are welcome, whether you're exploring faith or have been in church your whole life.
